The Hotel Breakers is a 511-suite, beachfront resort just steps from Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores.
Renovation work included a new Porte Cochere, entry way, two-story lobby, and addition of two – six story elevators to the 110-year-old hotel. In all, 7,000 SF of new building area was added; 279,000 SF of interiors were remodeled; and 92,430 SF of interiors were completely gutted and redone.
New interior areas included hotel administration offices, guest services area, employee training, reservation call center, new Starbucks, and new Surf’s Lounge Bar. Both phases of this project were fast-tracked and successfully completed during Cedar Point’s nine-month off-season.
