Beecher Terrace was built in 1939 in the Russell neighborhood of Louisville. This public housing development is comprised of 31.40 acres on four superblocks. Phase IV is a continuation of the revitalization in this neighborhood and includes 210 multi-family units across 27 buildings.
To further the growth of the neighborhood, five live/work units for entrepreneurs are situated along Muhammed Ali Boulevard. The entire redevelopment is pursuing LEED for Neighborhood Development (LEED ND) and Enterprise Green Community certification.
